“We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.”
— Mahatma Gandhi

Rebekah is currently working in private-practice through the Alma platform, offering tele-therapy services in the states of Texas and Florida. She is also exploring other potential ways to provide care to clients, including in-person availability in Florida.

Rebekah was recently employed internationally with the Cayman Islands Government, providing a broad range of mental health services accessible to anyone in the community. There she also started leadership training, and completed her ILM Level II certification, as well as collaborated with management on the redevelopment of program design with the aim to better meet the needs of both clients and therapists.

Previously as a mental health service provider, she has been employed in Austin, Texas with Integral Care (the local Mental Health Authority for Austin/Travis County), piloting the opening of the Mood Disorder Clinic, in partnership with the Mulva Clinic at UT Health Austin. Through Integral Care, she also held positions with Psychiatric Emergency Services and piloted the Hospital Discharge Intake program.

In Austin, Rebekah has also worked in another private practice setting with a focus on play and family therapy, as a case manager for children with complex medical needs and their families, as a volunteer social worker at an international NGO in Ghana, the director of social services for a longterm/rehabilitative care center, and as a service coordinator for Early Childhood Intervention.
