“When I have been listened to and when I have been heard, I am able to re-perceive my world in a new way and to go on. It is astonishing how elements which seem insoluble become soluble when someone listens.”
— Carl Rogers

Therapeutic Approach:

Rebekah believes that therapy is a unique experience for everyone who enters into it, and not a “one size fits all” process. She views you as the expert of your own life, so will listen to you without judgement, not assume she knows what is best for you, and sees her role as a supporting character in your life story.

Rebekah will work with you collaboratively to explore what brings you to a place of change, support you in setting goals, and offer the interventions and tools she believes will help you meet those goals. You and Rebekah will check in periodically to see if you are on track to getting you to where you want to be within your own journey, and if not, make adjustments together to continue to help you get there.

Rebekah also knows that change is not always linear and in an upward trajectory, and is dedicated to sticking with you and supporting you with your wins, as well as any set backs, throughout the process.

Rebekah utilizes an integration of evidence based (researched and proven effective), client centered, trauma informed, solution-focused, therapeutic approaches; allowing her to tailor your experience, and meet your needs, in a way that you determine is most effective and empowering.
